Hermann Schreibmüller

Hermann Schreibmüller (born September 6, 1874 in Passau ; † January 8, 1956 in Ansbach ) was a German high school teacher and historian.

Schreibmüller conducted philological, historical and pedagogical studies and entered school as a high school teacher in 1898. His job takes him to Schweinfurt , Kaiserslautern , Landau in the Palatinate and Ansbach. In 1905 he published the history of the Landvotgei in Speyergau and in 1911 a fundamental work on the Palatinate Reichsministeriales as well as further studies on the Palatinate, Franconian and Bavarian history. 1922 awarded him the philosophical faculty of the University of Heidelberg the degree of Honorary Doctor .
