Hermann Simon von Zastrow

Hermann Simon von Zastrow (born November 18, 1829 in Polzin, † December 8, 1900 in Berlin ) was a German judge and deputy in Prussia.

Life

Hermann Simon von Zastrow studied law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin . In 1847 he became a member of the Corps Neoborussia Berlin . After graduating, he entered the Prussian judicial service. In 1867 he was a public prosecutor in Cottbus . In 1871 he became district court director in Genthin and subsequently district court director in Magdeburg . In 1883 he was appointed President of the Köslin Regional Court .

Simon von Zastrow sat from 1867 to 1873 as a member of the constituency Frankfurt 1 (Arnswalde, Friedeberg) and from 1879 until his death in 1900 as a member of the constituency Magdeburg 3 (Jerichow II, Jerichow I) in the Prussian House of Representatives . On October 18, when he was appointed president of the regional court, he lost his mandate, but was re-elected on December 4, 1883. In 1887, 1889-1892, 1894 and 1896/97 he was a member of the Justice Commission. He was a member of the faction of the Conservative Party (Prussia) .
