Hermann Stümpert

Hermann Stümpert (born May 24, 1949 in Pirmasens , † October 1, 2005 in Stein (Probstei) ) was a German journalist and one of the pioneers of private broadcasting in Germany.

From 1970 to 1985, Stümpert was employed by Saarländischer Rundfunk as editor , head of entertainment and program planner. After the approval of private broadcasters in Germany, he founded Radio Schleswig-Holstein (R.SH) in 1985 and was its program director until 1991. In the following years Stümpert worked as a program advisor to several private and public broadcasters. He was a partner and managing director at BB Radio until 1997 . In 1997 he founded the institute for product ideas and media concepts Heureka! GmbH, of which he was managing director until his death.
