Hermann Wächter (politician, 1876)

Albert Hermann Wächter (born June 26, 1876 in Großhettstedt , † March 25, 1954 in Gera ) was a German politician ( economic party ). From 1927 to 1929 he was a member of the Thuringian state parliament .

Life

The son of the journeyman bricklayer Heinrich Richard Wächter and Caroline Louise Pauline, née Müller, attended the community school in Arnstadt . From 1898 he went to the tailoring academy in Dresden and passed the master craftsman examination in 1904. He then worked as a master tailor in Gera until 1937, where he was last owner of his own shop.

In January 1927, Wächter was elected to the Thuringian state parliament for the Reich Party of German Mittelstandes (Economic Party), to which he belonged until December 1929.

Hermann Wächter married Paula Frida Marie Bauer (1886–1977) in 1920, the daughter of a farmer and weaver.
