Hermann von Scheve

Hermann von Scheve (born October 30, 1819 in Neustrelitz ; † June 20, 1884 in Kissingen ) was a Mecklenburg-Schwerin administrative and judicial officer.

Life

Hermann Scheve was born as the son of the director of the judiciary, chamberlain and majoratee Theodor von Scheve. After graduating from high school in Neustrelitz he studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg , Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the University of Rostock Law . In 1841 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . In 1843 he joined the Corps Vandalia Rostock . After graduating, he entered the Mecklenburg-Schwerin civil service and was advisor to the judiciary and ministerial council . He was director of the judicial office, president of the regional court , president of the disciplinary chamber, sovereign commissioner of the Mecklenburg entailing authority and treasurer of the Mecklenburg cooperative of the Order of St. John .

His marriage to Agnes, née von Stralendorff (1824–1901) produced four children, a son and three daughters, among them the painter Sophie von Scheve .
