The Hermersbach is a one kilometer long brook in the south-eastern Palatinate Forest on the outskirts of the local community Ramberg in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Südliche Weinstraße , which flows into the Dernbach from the right and west .

course

The Hermersbach rises in the Palatinate Forest at an altitude of about 308  m above sea level. NHN on the southern slope of the Hermeskopf in a deciduous forest west of Ramberg .

It first flows about 300 m to the southeast in the corridor In den Farrenwiesen through deciduous forest terrain , then crosses a forest path and then enters a forest meadow. It now runs for almost 0.5 km through the Im Hermersbach corridor and then reaches the southwestern edge of Ramberg.

The brook then flows partly underground through the south of Ramberg, crosses Hermesbachstrasse and finally flows into the Dernbach from the right at about 221  m north of the local sports field .
