Hernán Novick , full name Hernán Novick Rettich , (born December 13, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Hernán Novick, who is 1.73 meters tall according to the club and 1.74 meters according to other sources, is the grandson of basketball player and sports official Héctor Novick , son of sports official Edgardo Novick , who was a candidate for president of Club Atlético Peñarol in 2008 , Brother of football player Marcel Novick and actress Victoria Novick. Bernardo, the eldest brother of the four siblings, is an economist with a Masters degree from Harvard University . At the beginning of his career, Hernán Novick was in the ranks of El Tanque Sisley from 2006 to 2008 . From 2008 to 2009 a station at Villa Española followed . From 2010 to 2013 he was a player at Centro Atlético Fénix . In the remainder of the 2009/10 season he ran there in 13 games of the Primera División . He didn't score a goal. In the seasons 2010/11 to 2013/14 he made another 88 premier league appearances, in which he scored a total of 20 goals (2010/11: 21 games (2 goals); 2011/12: 24 (3); 2012 / 13: 28 (9); 2013/14: 15 (6)). He also ran twice (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana for the Montevideans . In December 2013 he joined the Club Atlético Peñarol. By the end of the season he was set up once (no goal) in the Primera División. He also had a match (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores with the "Aurinegros" that year. In the 2014/15 season he was used 18 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league and once (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2014 . During the 2015/16 season, he contributed twelve personally goalless premier league appearances to win the national championship. He also played three times in the Copa Libertadores 2016 and scored twice in the opposing goal. In the 2016 season he was used in eight top division games (one goal) and once (no goal) in the 2016 Copa Sudamericana . On January 7th, 2017, his move to Club Guaraní was announced. The Paraguayans signed him on loan for a year and agreed a purchase option.
