Coat of arms of those of Rothenburg

The Lords of Rothenburg were a widely branched, southern German aristocratic family , which, according to Gebwin, descended from the Robertinians and named themselves with the Hohenstaufen kitchen master Heinrich towards the end of the 12th century after Rothenburg ob der Tauber Castle . The lines of Rothenburg, Gebwin Heilbronn , Giving Freiburg im Breisgau , Gewin in Rothenburg, Middle Franconia and the Bavarian Upper Palatinate go back to him.
