Herrgottskapelle in Weisingen

The Lord God Chapel in Weis Ingen , a district of the municipality Holzheim in the Swabian district Dillingen , was built in the first half of the 18th century. The chapel on the road to Aislingen , on the western edge of the village, is a protected architectural monument .

architecture

The chapel consists of an open hall with three arched arcades on columns with profiled capitals . The arches are set in glare fields. A profiled eaves cornice runs beneath the hipped roof . There are small shell niches on the front walls.

In the chapel there is a crucifix , which is framed by four figures of saints.
