Blazon : “Under the head of the shield, split by red and silver, split by silver and blue; in front a golden crowned and armored blue lion turned to the left, behind three six-pointed golden stars diagonally behind one another. "

The head of the shield, split in red and silver, symbolizes the former affiliation to the bishopric of Augsburg (until 1803). The lion on the front half of the coat of arms is taken from the Count's Adelmann coat of arms, as the humanist Konrad Adelmann von Adelmannsfelden lived in Holzheim and died here in 1547. The three stars on a blue background are taken from the coat of arms of Abbot Michael Dobler von Deggingen , who comes from Holzheim .
