The Hessegipfel is a 515  m (according to British data 455  m ) high mountain not far from the north-western tip of South Georgia . It is the highest point of the Parjadin ridge and rises halfway between Cape Alexandra and Cape Parjadin .

The German explorer Ludwig Kohl-Larsen mapped and named the mountain during his visit to South Georgia between 1928 and 1929. The further naming background is not known.
