The Hessian Canoe Association eV (HKV) is the Hessian professional association for canoeing and a member of the German Canoe Association and the State Sports Association of Hesse .

history

The Hessian Canoe Association acts as a representative of the interests of organized canoeing in Hesse. The Hessian Canoe Association was founded on October 14, 1947 in Wiesbaden . It has around 8,700 members in 93 associations, which are divided into the six districts of Altrhein, Lahn, Main, North Hesse, Rheingau and Untermain. The association is based in Frankfurt am Main .
