Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is an internationally active German commercial law firm with over 400 lawyers , tax advisors and notaries .

The law firm is active in all areas of commercial law. Clients include companies and the public sector . In the 2019 financial year, sales of 194.7 million euros were generated, which corresponds to an increase of 10 percent compared to the previous year.

history

The law firm goes back to the establishment of a joint law firm by Hans Günter Heuking (1938–2012) and Wolfgang Kühn in Düsseldorf in 1971. In 1990 three more locations were added in Berlin, Chemnitz and Frankfurt. The current name Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek emerged through the joining of the partnerships of the later namesake Ralf J. Wojtek from Hamburg and Hans-Jochem Lüer from Cologne in 1992. The first foreign office was opened in Brussels in 1999, followed by an office in Munich in 2002. In 2008, the foreign branch opened in Zurich , Switzerland . In 2015, the Stuttgart office of the law firm GSK Stockmann + Kollegen joined the law firm.

Locations

The law firm has eight locations in Germany ( Berlin , Chemnitz , Düsseldorf , Frankfurt am Main , Hamburg , Cologne , Munich and Stuttgart ). Outside of Germany, it has an office in Zurich ( Switzerland ). Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is also a member of the World Services Group network . However, there are no exclusive agreements. As part of its international orientation, the law firm has set up a China, Turkey, India, Japan and French desk each.
