Hideto Takahashi ( Japanese 高橋 秀 人 , Takahashi Hideto ; born October 17, 1987 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player who is currently under contract with Sagan Tosu . He can be used in defensive midfield and in central defense.

Takahashi played for Tokyo Gakugei University until the end of 2008 and then began his professional career at FC Tokyo, where he made his debut in the J. League Division 1 on July 25, 2010 against Shonan Bellmare . After the relegation of FC Tokyo to the J. League Division 2 in the 2010 season, they managed to get promoted again in the 2011 season and also won the Kaiser Cup .

At the beginning of 2017 he switched to Vissel Kobe and only one year later to Sagan Tosu .

On May 23, 2012, Takahashi came on for his first appearance for the Japanese national football team when he was substituted on for the game against Azerbaijan . By July 2013, he had a total of seven international matches (0 goals), after which he was nominated several times but not used again.
