The youngest son of Hieronymus the Elder Hrobschitzky von Hrobschitz and his wife Anna from Hungerkost (Anna z Hungerkoštu) inherited the villages of Bohemian Doubravice, Luková and Křečov near Kralovice in addition to the village of Manetin. As the first ruler of the family, he settled in Manetin and had the Manětín Castle built in the center of the town , as well as a brewery and a farm nearby.

In 1576 he bought the Březina Castle near Radnice and several villages in the area. They stated that the new master increased the compulsory labor , expropriated the entire forest property and let the sons and daughters work on his farms without them to pay. The beer is also of poor quality and if it comes from manetin it is acidic and cannot be drunk. He is also a strict gentleman who fines every small offense.
