High Times: Singles 1992-2006 is a best-of album by the British acid jazz band Jamiroquai , which was released in November 2006 on the Sony Music label.
General
The CD appeared in several versions. In addition to the normal version, there was a special edition with a second CD with remixes of some of the songs. An additional DVD with music videos and making-ofs was also released in some countries .
The normal edition of the CD mainly contains old songs by the band, some of which have been shortened. However, there are also two new releases: Runaway and Radio . The two new songs are based on the style of Jamiroquai's first albums before the band tried out new styles on Dynamite . Furthermore, the band's new bass player, Paul Turner, can be heard here for the first time .
The album was advertised relatively heavily for a compilation. For example, posters with the Buffalo Man (the band's logo) were sometimes hung up.
For the later single Runaway there was a poster of the band with a pre-order.
The cover of the CD shows the famous “feather headdress” of the singer Jay Kay on a beach.
