The High Window ( English for high window ) is a notch in a mountain ridge on Deception Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is between Cathedral Crags and Neptunes Window on one side and South East Point on the other.
The from Wales originating geologist Donald Durston Hawkes (* 1934) from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey 1961 carried out the mapping. Polish scholars named the notch descriptively in 1999.
