Hildebert Apel

Carl Otto Hildebert Apel (born July 12, 1865 in Horba ; † January 13, 1929 there ) was a German farmer and politician.

Hildebert Apel was the son of the farmer in Horba Heinrich Friedrich Herwart Apel and his wife Eva Emilie Auguste née Ludwig. Apel, who was an Evangelical Lutheran denomination, married on November 11, 1886 in Milbitz b. P. Luise Mathilde Bertha née Lindner (born November 22, 1869 in Horna; † November 30, 1941 ibid), the daughter of a farmer.

Apel lived as a farmer in Horba.

After the November Revolution he was a member of the state parliament of the Free State of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt from April 1, 1919 . He resigned on April 20, 1922. His successor in the state parliament, which had meanwhile become the regional representative, was Robert Crone . Between December 16, 1919 and June 11, 1920 he was a deputy member of the People's Council of Thuringia for the Free State of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt .

In 1914/15 he was awarded the silver medal of honor with broken oak .
