Hildegarde Sell

Hildegarde Loretta Sell (born February 1, 1906 in Adell , Wisconsin , † July 29, 2005 in New York City ), commonly known as Hildegarde , was an American cabaret singer.

Sell ​​attended St. John's Cathedral High School in Milwaukee . In 1937 she made her television debut with NBC .

Sell ​​worked on a travel show. This moved mainly through the USA and Europe . She was also known by the nickname The Incomparable Hildegarde ( The Incomparable Hildegarde ).

Hildegardes best known song was "Darling, Je Vous Aime Beaucoup".
