Hillartshausen is the smallest district of the municipality Friedewald , which is in the district of Hersfeld-Rotenburg , in Hesse .
The village is located southeast of the core community between the Dreienberg and the Landeckerberg in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve .
history
Hillartshausen was first mentioned in a document in 1462. The place belonged to the Vogtei Kreuzberg .
On December 31, 1971 Hillartshausen was incorporated into the Friedewald community.
