Hilmar Feetz (born March 24, 1940 ) is a former German soccer player. From 1962 to 1972 he played 212 point games for BSG Wismut Gera . 1966/67 he played for BSG Wismut in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football . There he completed 22 point games in which he scored two goals.

Athletic career

Until 1962 Hilmar Feetz played in the fifth-class company sports club (BSG) Chemie in Rositz, Thuringia . At the beginning of the 1962/63 season he moved to BSG Wismut Gera in the second-rate GDR league . With 18 league games in the 26-round season, he immediately played his way into the expanded player base. From 1963/64 the GDR league played with 30 rounds, of which Feetz played 27 games and scored his first nine goals for Gera. After 29 point games and five goals in 1964/65, he was in the 1965/66 season with 26 inserts and ten hits decisively involved in the rise of BSG Wismut in the league. Together with Otto Skrowny he was the top scorer in Gera.

In the league season 1966/67 Feetz was able to maintain itself as a regular player. He was only absent in four of the 26 point games, was initially used as a striker and later in midfield. The BSG Wismut achieved only four wins, had the worst goal difference with 27:57 and rose as bottom of the table after a year from the league again. Since Feetz had only scored two goals, he was also responsible for the low goal yield of the Geraer.

In the following five seasons Feetz played with Wismut Gera again in the GDR league. Until 1970 he was still a regular player (70 appearances in 90 point games). After he had played all 30 GDR league games in 1969/70 and had also been successful with ten goals, he only came to seven point games without scoring in 1970/71. At the age of 31, he played his last season in the GDR league in 1971/72, in which he completed 13 of 22 point games and once again proved his accuracy with his seven goals. He then ended his competitive sports career.
