The Himmeleck is not an independent summit, but a 2145  m high grassy dome of the Allgäu Alps in the ridge from the Himmelecksattel to the Schneck Vorapfel. Often the Himmelecksattel itself as Himmeleck referred.

Botanical rarities such as the sulfur yellow alpine anemone can be found on the Himmeleck .
