The Hind Turret (English for rear turret ) is a mountain peak in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises on the south side of Obelisk Mountain .
The descriptive naming was based on a joint decision of the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names and the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1976.
