Hindenburgpark (Hamburg)

The Hindenburgpark is a park located directly on the Elbe in the Hamburg district of Othmarschen .

The English-style facility is located in the Hamburg district of Altona at Elbchaussee 247–265 and has an irregular floor plan. The park, which was larger before partial parceling in the 1930s, is still around 75 meters wide on the Chaussee and around 100 meters on the Elbe (Hans-Leip-Ufer). At a depth of around 100 meters, the terrain slopes down by a good 25 meters (from 23.5 or 27 meters above sea level to 4.9 or 8.3).
