Patrick Davell Patterson (born March 14, 1989 in Washington, DC ) is an American basketball player . He has played for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA since 2019 .

Career

Houston Rockets (2010 to 2013)

On June 24, 2010, Patrick Patterson was selected in 14th place in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. Shortly after the start of the season, the Rockets sent him to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA D-League on November 10th . After nine games, the Rockets brought him back to the squad and on December 15, in the 105: 117 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder , Patterson made his debut in the NBA. Overall, Patterson made 52 games in the 2010/11 season with an average of 6.3 points and 3.9 rebounds .

In the 2011/12 season Patterson received more playing time with the Rockets, with whom he narrowly missed the play-offs at the end of the season . On March 26, Patterson led the Rockets to victory over the Sacramento Kings with a career high of 24 points .

Sacramento Kings (2013)

On February 21, 2013 Patterson was transferred from the Rockets to the Sacramento Kings along with his teammates Cole Aldrich and Tony Douglas . As part of this deal, the Rockets received from the Kings, among others, Thomas Robinson and Francisco Garcia .

Toronto Raptors (2013-2017)

November 2013 Patterson was transferred from the Kings to the Toronto Raptors . In return, forward Rudy Gay moved to Sacramento.

Oklahoma City Thunder (since 2017)

In 2017 Patterson signed a contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder .
