The house Hinter der Mauer 7 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located in the eastern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the north is the also listed building Hinter der Mauer 8 . On the opposite side of the street is the city wall belonging to the historic Quedlinburg city fortifications.

Architecture and history

The small two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1720. The house is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. It is regarded as evidence of the housing construction of poorer sections of the population. There is a narrow bevel on the threshold . The windows of the house were renewed in the 19th and 20th centuries.
