The rear Üntschenspitze is 2046  m above sea level. A. high mountain Part of the Baader mountain framing in the Kleinwalsertal and thus part of the Allgäu Alps . It is a pure grass mountain and is located on the ridge between Güntlispitze in the northwest and the Wannenberg  ( 1830  m above sea level ) in the east.

Ascent

An unmarked path leads up the mountain, which, coming from the Güntlispitze, has old, no longer repaired wire rope insurances at the most difficult point ( UIAA I ) . The Hintere Üntschenspitze can also be climbed pathlessly over the Wannenberg or on path tracks over the Üntschenpass . It represents an inconspicuous elevation of the ridge without a summit cross and is therefore rarely climbed.
