Back hanggin banner
The rear hanggin banner ( Chinese 杭锦后旗 , Pinyin Hángjǐn Hòuqí ; Mongolian ᠬᠠᠩᠭᠢᠨ ᠬᠣᠶᠢᠲᠤ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Qaŋɣin Qoyitu qosiɣu ) is a banner of the prefecture -level city of Bayan Nur in the west of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 1,767 km² and has a population of 300,000 (2004). Its main town is the large community of Shanba (陕 坝镇).
The significant Huogeqi copper (lead-zinc) deposit 狼山 霍 各 乞 铜矿 床 is located on the north side of Lang Shan .
