The Hinton Glacier is a glacier in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range of the Transantarctic Mountains it flows between the ridges Forbes Ridge and Dusky Ridge to the Hatherton Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1965 after the construction mechanic Clarence Cornelius Hinton Jr. (* 1943) of the United States Navy , who was part of the 1963 occupation of McMurdo Station and who heads the team for the maintenance of remote United States research stations in the Antarctic would have.
