The Menhir Hirfaen Gwyddog (also called Three Farms Stone, Carreg Hirfaen or Carreg Hir Faen) stands between Ffarmers and Lampeter in Carmarthenshire ( Welsh Sir Caerfyrddin ) in Wales .

The menhir ( Welsh Maen hir - English standing stone ) is a distinctive pointed monolith on the border of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion . It is about 4.8 meters high. Considered the largest menhir in Ceredigion (although officially listed as a Carmarthenshire site), it is one of the largest in Wales along with the Carreg Bica . It is a scheduled monument .
