Hirttämättömät (roughly: "The Unhanging") is a Finnish western from 1971. Spede Pasanen directed, produced, wrote and acted in the follow-up to his Speedy Gonzales - Noin 7 veljeksen poika, which he made the previous year .

action

The Lonely Rider and his companion Tonto have captured the feared gunslinger from Njietponimaistadi, Speedy Gonzalez. Now they want to bring him back to town to collect the ransom. On their way through the desert they struggle with water shortages and Indians before they find out that they have walked in circles. In fact, Speedy, who arranged the whole thing, now collects the head price for the two of them, about which they knew nothing at all.

criticism

The film has built a reputation over the years as a classic that doesn't take anything or anyone seriously; in particular he parodies the Indian roles of Charles Bronson . When it came out, the film, which was popular with the public, was not received with great enthusiasm.
