Hischam Mohamed Osman Bastawisi ( Arabic هشام البسطويسي, DMG Hišām al-Basṭawīsī ; * May 23, 1951 in Cairo , Kingdom of Egypt ) is an Egyptian judge and the Vice-President of the Egyptian Court of Cassation.

He studied at the University of Cairo . Bastawisi was one of the opposition leaders before and during the 2011 revolution in Egypt . He ran as a candidate for the Tagammu party in the Egyptian presidential elections in 2012 , but received only 29,189 votes and thus 0.13% of the vote.

He is married to Olfat Salah.
