Hispanic Studies

Hispanic Studies , derived from the name of the Roman province of Hispania , or Iberoromanistik , is a sub-area of Romance studies . It is understood to mean the academic study of the Spanish language and Spanish literature as well as, in a broader sense, the modern cultural studies that deal with the Spanish nation , its history and regional studies .
