Historical social studies. History, Subject Didactics, Political Education is an educational specialist journal that has been published in Vienna since 1971 and published by the Association for History and Social Studies c / o Institute for Economic and Social History of the University of Vienna . Until 2002 it was sold under the name Contributions to Historical Social Studies . It is identified as the “largest private magazine for further training for teachers of all school types”. In terms of didactics, it is supervised by the Central Office for History Didactics and Political Education of the Federal Center for Social Learning at the Salzburg University of Education .
