Hjørdis is a Danish family - miniseries of four episodes from the year 2015. The series is a spin-off of the television series Rita . It is a Netflix original and a production by SF Film Production and was broadcast on TV 2 . The series was directed by Lars Kaalund and the idea and script was carried out by Christian Torpe in all episodes, Lars Kaalund was involved in two episodes and Marie Østerbye in one episode. The series was released on Netflix in German and French dubbing and with Dutch and English subtitles.

The eponymous teacher Hjørdis is the focus of the series, who wants to put on a play together with socially disadvantaged children during an anti-bullying week. These efforts are influenced by the announcement of the visit of the Danish princess who wants to fight against bullying.
