The Hobbs Pool is one of the tidal certain lake on the Rymill coast of Palmer Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located south of Horse Bluff on the edge of the ice shelf of George VI Sound .

Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey carried out oceanographic and limnological studies here in 1974. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after Simon Alistair Hobbs (* 1943), who worked for the British Antarctic Survey on the opposite island of Alexander I in 1973 and 1974 .
