The hobby Rocks are three small islands off the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . They lie in front of the Vestfold Mountains and mark the west side of Davis Anchorage .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . A new mapping was carried out using aerial photographs taken by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . Name giver is Derrick William David Hobby (* 1927), mechanic for diesel engines at Davis Station in 1960.
