Davis Anchorage is a small bay on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land, East Antarctica . It is across the Breidnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains . The bay is bounded on the west by the Krat Rocks and Hobby Rocks and on the east by rocks and shallows , which are 800 m in front of Davis Station .
The bay serves as a mooring ( English anchorage ) for the ships of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to visit the Davis Station, after which the bay is named for the 1957th
