Normal way pathless over the east ridge

The Hochalter is a 2678  m high mountain in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol and part of the short mountain range that rises south above Kühtai with the Pirchkogel , Hochalter and Mugkogel. The summit can sometimes be reached without a path from Kühtai.

The Kühtai ski area extends below the southern summit drop.
