Kirchdorf high-rise

The high-rise Kirchdorf is a 1955 commissioned by Hans Liebherr built 52 meter high skyscraper with 16 floors for employees of the company Liebherr . It is located opposite the company premises of Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH in Kirchdorf an der Iller in Upper Swabia .

The high-rise is a sign of the town's economic upswing after the Second World War , which is associated with the name Liebherr and the invention of the tower crane . After the renovation at the beginning of the third millennium, it is the symbol of the community.

The skyscraper is located near Liebherrstrasse at the confluence with Heimstrasse, in the skyscraper street named after the skyscraper opposite the Kirchdorf community park . With its 16 floors, it is the highest building in the municipality and was the tallest building in the Biberach district when it was built. It is the only high-rise in a village community in the Biberach district. The facade of the high-rise is painted in yellow and white.
