The hamlet of Hochstellerhof belongs to the local community of Trulben in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Südwestpfalz .

Geographical location

The place is located in the hilly Hackmesserseite region on a 430 meter high knoll on Kreisstraße  6, which is locally called Pirmasenser Straße . It is 4 kilometers to the west to the core town and 7 kilometers to the north to the city of Pirmasens . The border with France runs 5 kilometers (as the crow flies) to the southwest, the nearest border crossing ( Walschbronn ) is 7 kilometers.

The area around the Hochstellerhof is drained in the south by the Trualb (e) and in the north by the Felsalb (e) , both of which flow as right tributaries into the Hornbach .

history

The Hochstellerhof was built in 1745, the nucleus was an estate .

politics

Together with the neighboring Felsenbrunnerhof , the Hochstellerhof forms the only district in the municipality of Trulben.

The town council consists of five members in the municipal election held on May 26, 2019 in a majority vote were elected, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Nico Faul became mayor of Hochstellerhof / Felsenbrunnerhof on July 3, 2019. In the direct election on May 26, 2019, he was elected for five years with 57.08% of the vote. Lazy predecessor was Birgit Hunsicker.

Economy and Infrastructure

In August 2004 the agricultural hamlet had around 450 inhabitants. With the SV Hochstellerhof there is a local sports club that is primarily dedicated to football .
