Hocine el-Zourkane (born March 24, 1996 ) is an Algerian middle and long distance runner .

Athletic career

Hocine el-Zourkane gained his first experience in international championships in 2013 at the World Youth Championships in Donetsk , where he finished ninth in the 3000 meter run in 8: 27.43 minutes. In 2019 he finished seventh in the 1500 meter run at the Summer Universiade in Naples in 3: 55.51 minutes and originally won the bronze medal over 5000 meters, but was subsequently disqualified for violating the track.

In 2019 el-Zourkane became the Algerian champion in the 1500 and 5000 meters .
