The Hofmark Grunertshofen was a Hofmark based at Grunertshofen Castle in Grunertshofen , a district of the municipality of Moorenweis in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck .

history

At the beginning of the 12th century, Grunertshofen was the seat of a noble family. Through the marriage of Lucia Grunhartzhoverin with the Frankish nobleman Hans von Egloffstein zu Bärenfels, the place came to this family around 1400. After this line of the Egloffsteins died out, the Hofmark Grunertshofen came to Georg and Hans von Murach zu Guteneck. In 1563, Antonius Sytter, the Bavarian ducal keeper of Starnberg , acquired the Hofmark.

The succession came to Virgil Hofer von Urfarn , mining lord of Rattenberg and citizen in Munich, and from around 1600 the Munich merchant and patrician Franz Füll.

The Füll family owned Grunertshofen in male line until 1825 and in female line of succession ( Pfetten -Füll) until 1882.
