Hofsteinach

Hofsteinach was a short-lived municipality in the districts of Coburg and Kronach , Upper Franconia , Bavaria .

The community of Hofsteinach was created on January 1, 1970 in the district of Coburg through the merger of the communities Hof an der Steinach (officially: Hof adSteinach) and Steinach an der Steinach (officially: Steinach adSteinach) . On July 1, 1972, the community was reclassified from the Coburg district to the Kronach district.

On January 1, 1974, the community was dissolved and incorporated into the Mitwitz market .
