The Hogsmill River is a watercourse in Surrey and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames , England . It arises as an outflow from two unnamed ponds in Ewell and flows in a north and northeast direction. After the mouth of the Bonesgate Stream , it forms the border between Surrey and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames for a while, and then flows entirely into it. It flows into the Thames in Kingston upon Thames .

Between Kingston upon Thames and Malden , the Hogsmill River flows through the Hogsmill River Park Nature Reserve and in Ewell through the Hogsmill Nature Reserve
