The Hohe Kugel is 1645 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the far west of the Bregenz Forest Mountains on the edge of the Rhine Valley . The summit of the mountain, which is popular as a hiking destination, is located in the municipality of Fraxern . As a family hiking destination, the summit of the Hohe Kugel is easily accessible even for inexperienced hikers. Popular hiking routes lead from Ebnit or from the Hohenems district of Reute, rising slightly to the highest point of the mountain. This can also be reached by Fraxers via several variants of hiking trails.
In 2015 a new summit cross was erected.
