The Holden Nunatakker are a group of four Nunatakkern up to 1500 m in height in the south-central part of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . They rise south of Journal Peaks near the head of the Mosby Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them using aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1966 to 1969. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1978 after Godfrey Andrew Holden (* 1948) from the British Antarctic Survey , which took place between 1974 and 1975 involved in surveying the Nunatakker and was head of the Rothera station from 1977 to 1978 .
