Holger Lutz

Holger Lutz (born June 3, 1976 in Lohr am Main ) is a German chef .

Life

After completing his training, Lutz did basic military service in Hammelburg from 1995 . In 1996 he went to the Palais restaurant in Würzburg, and in 1998 to the Hotel Alpenhof in Murnau am Staffelsee . In 2000 he moved to the Wald & Schloßhotel Friedrichsruhe ( one Michelin star ) under Lothar Eiermann and to the Endtenfang restaurant in Celle .

In 2002 he became head chef at the Hiscox restaurant in Munich, and in 2003 at the Bischoff am See restaurant in Tegernsee . In 2006 he returned to the Endtenfang restaurant in the Hotel Fürstenhof in Celle as sous chef . In 2011 he became head chef there. The restaurant had been awarded a Michelin star since 1988. which was confirmed under Lutz.

Endtenfang closed in 2017 . Lutz stayed as kitchen director at the Hotel Fürstenhof , where he runs the Italian restaurant Palio.
