Holger Wohland (born June 1, 1977 in Boeblingen ) is a former German soccer player . The midfielder , who was mainly involved in amateur football, played five games in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

Wohland played in his youth at GSV Maichingen , VfL Sindelfingen and the Stuttgarter Kickers . In 1995 he moved to SpVgg Renningen in the Württemberg Association League . There he shone as an offensive player and scored 15 goals this season in the 1996/97 season. He was then signed by 1. FC Pforzheim , where the young player quickly established himself in the top division team. After five goals in 26 games, he went to SpVgg Greuther Fürth after just one season . In the 1998/99 season he was used five times in the 2nd Bundesliga , but could not prevail in professional football.

Therefore, Wohland left the club on loan after only one season and was loaned to SC Pfullendorf in the Regionalliga Süd . In 2001 he was immediately given back, at TSV 1860 Munich he ran on the second team. From 2002 he played for the fifth division TSV Schönaich in the association league Württemberg, after one season he moved back to 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 in the regional league. Here he was again unable to assert himself and was handed over to the national division MTV Ingolstadt in January 2004 . From there he moved to SSV Ulm 1846 in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the summer of 2004 . Again and again injured due to injuries, he was mainly in the squad of the second team of the former Bundesliga club and was no longer tied after his contract expired in 2006. Therefore he went to TSV Burgau in the district league Swabia / Danube .
