The Hollmort ( ) is a peasantry in Versmolder district Peckeloh in Gütersloh .

Geographical location
Hollmort is located between Füchtorf and Versmold , near the Versmold district of Peckeloh . Here are the two Peckeloher landscapes Bleek and Birkenvenn , which are only lightly populated by individual farms. In the south, the Hollmort borders on the Schultenhof golf club , in the west on the Warendorf - Gütersloh district border , in the north on the Great Fens and in the east on Buschort .
Settlement structure
Hollmort is sparsely populated and has no fixed town center. Instead, you will only find independent farms in the peasantry .
history
Origin of name
One of the most important Peckeloh farms is the Potthof farm on the state border with the Münsterland . This was formerly known as Hof Hollmann , the property of the farm was called Hollmanns Kotten . The term Hollmort was derived from this term in the 20th century. It means "place of the Hollmann court".
